This Friday on the POINT Historic Moments of Central Oregon highlights SE Roberts, the first Sheriff of Deschutes County and the first Chief of Police in the City of Bend. He arrived in 1910 from Portland, Oregon. Kelly Cannon Miller, Executive Director of the Deschutes Historical Society, also joins us to talk about Mr. Roberts and his many firsts in Central Oregon. Kathryn was recently invited into the kitchen of her Swiss-Canadian friend, Erika Carpenter of the Crowsnest Pass in Alberta. In Erika’s cozy kitchen, she shared her Swiss mother’s easy and delicious recipe for potato salad.
