When you support KPOV, you give power to the people to create their own local radio. That’s why 88.9 FM is always the best on the dial.

To keep real radio rolling, become a KPOV member or renew during the Spring Membership Drive, April 19-27 (you can do it now too).

We offer great thank-you gifts starting at pledges of $60. We also hold exciting drawings for a Grand Prize (The Roots concert) and Early Bird Prize (Jackson’s Corner). See the details and drawing eligibility here.

This recorded series comes out of a collaborative effort between the Deschutes County Historical Society and Deschutes Public Library. KPOV will play two oral histories each month on The Point between 9 and 9:30 am, on the second Friday and third Wednesday in a segment called “Historic Moments of Central Oregon.”
